About PEBL Lessons

PEBL Lessons is an independent revision resource business created and run by myself, Marco Brown, with the aim of making A-Level revision clearer, more accessible and easier to manage.

I created PEBL Lessons because I know how difficult it can be to find revision resources that are actually useful. There is plenty of information available online, but it can often be difficult to know what you need to learn, what is relevant to your specification, and how to turn that knowledge into an effective exam answer.

PEBL Lessons was created to make that process simpler.

Who I Am

I am the person behind PEBL Lessons, responsible for researching, writing, designing and developing the resources available through the website.

My main focus is A-Level subjects including Politics, Economics, Business and Law. I create resources around the specifications and topics students are expected to study, with an emphasis on making complicated ideas easier to understand and revise.

Rather than simply putting information into a document, I try to structure resources in a way that makes them practical for revision. This includes breaking larger topics into manageable sections, explaining key concepts clearly and focusing on the knowledge and analytical skills students need for their exams.

Why I Created PEBL Lessons

The idea for PEBL Lessons came from wanting to create the revision resources that I would have found useful myself.

Revision can quickly become overwhelming. Textbooks can contain far more information than you need, online resources can be inconsistent, and it can be difficult to work out which information is important for your particular course.

PEBL Lessons aims to bring that information together in one place.

Each resource is designed around a specific topic, making it easier to focus on what you are currently studying rather than working through large amounts of unrelated material.

What PEBL Lessons Provides

PEBL Lessons currently focuses on revision resources for:

  • Politics
  • Economics
  • Business
  • Law

The website provides downloadable revision guides and other resources designed to support students throughout their A-Level studies.

Alongside the written resources, I also create educational videos and other content through the PEBL Lessons YouTube channel and social media platforms. These allow topics to be explained in different formats, so students can choose the method of revision that works best for them.

My Approach

I try to keep every PEBL Lessons resource:

  • Clear — complicated topics are broken down into understandable sections.
  • Focused — resources concentrate on the subject content students actually need.
  • Structured — topics are organised to make revision easier to navigate.
  • Practical — resources are designed to be used alongside students' normal lessons and revision.
  • Accessible — digital resources can be downloaded and used wherever students choose to study.

PEBL Lessons is an independent project, and I am continuously developing it based on what I think students will find most useful.

The Aim of PEBL Lessons

Ultimately, PEBL Lessons is about making revision less overwhelming.

I want students to be able to open a resource, understand what they are looking at and know exactly what they need to revise.
